Mike Halliwell is a Bristol-based singer and songwriter. Originally from Reading, via London and Oxford he played, wrote and recorded for various Reading bands during the late 90s and early 2000s before forming a songwriting project with multi-instrumentalist and producer Matt Foster in 2002.

Initially only a studio project, years of testing material on the songwriter circuit has seen Mike together with Matt, and more recently session-drummers Leo Brown and Adam Perry, saxophonist and producer Alan Whetton and singer-songwriter Hannah Veale, become a live band in their own right.

A diverse group of experienced musicians, influences are broad, but common favourite bands can usually be traced back at some point to the producer Dave Fridmann and Tarbox Road Studios in New York.
